WAYNE ATTARD, DIRECTOR OF SOCCER - BOYS


Wayne Attard's professional career began in 1978 when he began playing youth soccer in Melbourne, Australia at Sunshine Heights & Sunshine George Cross. In 1990, Wayne became a representative of State and Australian School Boys. The following year, he became a part of the Victorian State League with the Green Gully Ajax. At the age of 17, he was a part of the 1st Team Debut for the National Soccer League Australia at Sunshine George Cross. At the age of 19, Wayne became a part of the Maltese Premier League Debut with Rabat Ajax, then became a Maltese Citizen in 1996. From there, he went on to play in the Premier League until 2004 with various clubs (B’Kara FC, Sliema, and Hamrun).

Wayne's coaching career began in 2005, with the U5 - U15 teams at Sliema Youth Academy, the U5 – U14 at Zazu Football School, and the U19 Assistant Coach at Qormi FC. He then went to become the head coach for the 1st team, 2nd team, and premier divisions at St Andrews FC, and the U17 - U19 Head Coach and Coach Educator at Malta Football Association. Wayne holds the title of Director of Coaching for boys at ALBION SC Las Vegas.
